Outback Custom Meat, a participating processor with Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger, is taking their community service to an international level. The facility processes donated deer at no charge to hunters, providing venison to local food pantries while receiving financial reimbursement for processing expenses. This year, they’re donating those reimbursements to support feeding and clothing efforts in Romania, creating a ripple effect where a single deer donation helps fight hunger both locally and halfway around the world.
