Your Donation Helps Turn Wild Game Into Meals

Each year, Michigan hunters generously donate deer to help feed families throughout our state. Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger connects those hunters with participating processors and local food banks, pantries, and community organizations.

Your contribution helps fund:

  • Venison processing costs
  • Support for participating processors
  • Transportation and program coordination
  • Outreach to hunters and communities
  • Expansion into underserved areas of Michigan

During the 2025–2026 season, approximately 2,700 donated deer provided about 100,000 pounds of venison—enough for roughly 400,000 servings.

That impact is only possible because hunters, processors, volunteers, donors, and community partners work together.
